We are the dynamic trio of Guido, Luca and Matteo, three young and passionate residents of Venice who are eager to live and work in the enchanting city of water.

Signor Blum was founded in Venice in 1978 as an experimental craft workshop that gradually specialised in woodworking, with a focus on jigsaw objects. This approach has made the workshop a reference point for local craftsmanship, thanks to its distinctive and recognisable style.
In 2023, after more than forty years in the business, Francesca Bampa, Francesca Grandese and Laura Turchetto, the three artisans who had run the workshop until then, passed the torch to us, a new trio of artisans. With passion and dedication, they have transmitted to us the secrets of this delicate handicraft, allowing us to continue what they have built up over time.
Although we do not come from a craftsman’s background, we have decided to take up the challenge of perpetuating this quality craftsmanship, believing strongly in the style and identity that have made it unique.
We are aware of the privilege that this opportunity represents: to be able to combine a passion for creative and manual work with the desire to contribute to keeping alive the social and cultural fabric of Venice, a unique city that we want to preserve and enhance with our daily commitment.
