Ca’d’Oro Palace – Decomposable wooden facade
Handcrafted wooden reproduction of the Ca’ d’Oro, one of the most iconic palaces on the Grand Canal. Decomposable and hand-colored.
Description
One of the most fascinating architectures in Venice, the Ca’ d’Oro is here interpreted in fretwork-cut wood. The name comes from the fact that parts of the facade were originally covered in gold. Here its elements fit together like a jigsaw puzzle and each part is colored one by one by dipping in food coloring.
A handcrafted collector’s piece that tells of the Gothic splendor of the Grand Canal.
