Description

Designed by Andrea Palladio, the Basilica del Redentore is one of the symbolic places of worship and celebration in Venice. The Redentore’s facade constitutes the most mature outcome of Palladio’s reflections on church fronts with intersecting orders. This wooden miniature reproduces its facade with great attention to detail. Cut by scroll-saw and colored piece by piece by immersion, it is a perfect handcrafted object to celebrate the beauty of Giudecca.
